Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) Administrator

Position Reports to:

Head of Risk and Compliance

Job Objectives:

• Ensure that all new Investors to / Agents for the Funds are fully compliant with all anti money laundering, customer due diligence and operational requirements before authorising the opening of accounts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and collect all AML documentation for each Investor/Agent and ensure that all documents are filed safely and correctly
• Create Investors/agents in the Transfer Agency system.
• Proactively chase Investors/Agents for any outstanding documentation.
• Ensure that the Investor/Agent details are maintained accurately on the Transfer Agency share register system.
• Provide guidance to Transfer Agency department in relation to Anti-Money Laundering & Customer Due Diligence queries.
• Prepare periodic activity reports as requested.
• Document policies/procedures as required by the department.
• Work with and support the Head of Risk and Compliance in all project work undertaken by the department.

Job Attributes:

Job Knowledge / Technical Skills / Qualifications

• Professional Qualification in Compliance desirable but not essential (e.g. Certificate in Compliance)
• A minimum of two years experience in an AML related role.
• Detailed understanding of the Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence requirements
• Experience in Funds Industry desirable but not essential.
• Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel and Access

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Attention to detail a must
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude

• Internal: Risk & Compliance, Transfer Agency, Client Relationship Managers.
• External: Investors and Agents, Heads of Risk and Compliance in CACEIS Bank Luxembourg SA, Financial Regulator, Trustees and Auditors.
