Compliance Ireland (and City Compliance) has experienced tremendous growth since commencing in February 2004. Our brands are firmly established in the Irish, UK, wider-Europe, Middle-East, South Africa & Cayman Islands markets. Our client base, both consulting and training, includes the biggest and most dynamic companies operating in Ireland. We service banks, investment firms, insurance firms, intermediaries, credit unions, telecoms and other businesses.
An excellent opportunity is now available for a talented individual to join Compliance Ireland.
The role may be at Associate level or indeed, for persons running a proven and successful existing training business, at Director (and equity) level. In either case the person will be responsible for cementing our existing training business markets and driving new ones, including our e-learning products.
The individual should be a graduate with extensive regulatory experience, with a background in design, development and delivery of training on some or all of the following topics:
- MiFID
- Anti-Money Laundering
- Consumer Protection Code
- compliance
- data protection
- banking
- mutual funds
- hedge funds
- asset management
- administration/custody
- insurance
- broker (i.e. stock broking)
- intermediaries (i.e. mortgage and insurance)
- credit unions
Most importantly, the individual must be able to demonstrate that he/she can apply their skills to solving ‘real-life’ practical issues that we deal with in our training products. The right individual should also have operational and regulatory/compliance experience gained in Ireland.
Obviously, exceptional presentational, personal and problem-solving skills are a must! Yet just as important is a person who wishes to grow a great business in core and non-core areas (both locally and overseas) and who relishes the principle of risk and reward return.
We are especially interested in meeting with persons wishing to move from regulated firms, training companies, law firms, accounting firms, consulting businesses, and regulatory bodies who will enjoy making commercial decisions and who wish to make their mark on industry. Depending upon the individual, the role may be available on a part-time basis.
