DAVY- SENIOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER : Location - Dublin [REF: DAVY-CJ-021]

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Compliance Manager to join the Compliance Department at Davy.
The successful candidate will participate in providing a quality, knowledgeable compliance service to other departments within Davy and will ensure that Davy is compliant with external regulatory; legal & best practice requirements. This is a broadly scoped role which requires flexibility in the context of a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of the legal and regulatory implications from a product development and a marketing perspective. This will include a requirement to work closely with the business in the drafting of material and in providing acomprehensive review of the final promotional material.
- Researching and implementing regulatory requirements as assigned.
- Liaising with regulators to address daily regulatory enquiries and engage with them on regular inspection visits.
- Representing the Compliance Department on business initiatives and projects, both internally and externally as necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Astrong working knowledge of investment products and of property transactions.
- A relevant Compliance or Legal qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years Compliance and / or Legal experience, and Investment experience with knowledge of the main requirements of the Financial Regulator.
- A confident approach and an ability to communicate with a range of people including regulators, legal advisors and senior management within the business.
- A team player that can react positively to very demanding challenges and tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy.
- A commitment to quality and attention to detail is extremely important in this role.
